The concept of my work so far was always about an emerging feeling –idea-word as clear as possible, something that is known-experienced-a known motion or not. More like a sign language, a modern ideogram I would say. I want the viewer to be caught off guard and to make this correlation with the painting, to realize that it derives from the work and that even actions like color placed on a surface can produce effect and eventually be aware of that his own actions or words may have an impact. It is about realization.
Communicating my reality is not of the importance as much as it is the tool I use for conceiving and creating ,which is my own realizations and resident feelings that I match with experiences.
Architectural synthesis is always in the back of my mind but I try to conceive and paint the form of more abstract meanings and my expression is through minimum but clear semiology and highly defined colors and shapes. I use acrylics because they dry fast and this is something useful for the way I create (ex. working with pallet kniffe) and they are relatively odorless. I choose small formats and fairly light mediums for my work because I move them quite a lot between working places. A substantial part of my work consists of digital processed images synthesized in collage form. Meanings, thoughts and projections constructed as plain as it gets via optical photo material from the digital metaverse that surrounds us. Maybe an honor to the new era optical stimulus that we are all exposed to and subconsciously urged to recompose them and find a useful meaning in all these data flux that slowly and constantly molds our brain function, aesthetics and culture into a new age. An imposed new digital era Artepovera-like synthesized communication. Small format like words, once more. Artists like Mark Rothko, Franz Kline, Gerhard Richter, Ian Mckeever, modernist architects like Le Corbusier and Ludwig Mies Van der Rohe, but also the spirit of late mannerism painters, amaze me and help me understand the way I perceive my art.
I think that my goal is to motivate people to be aware that changes and meanings can come from anything and anywhere as long as you open a dialogue with it.
At last, more than anyone else an artist must be able to outcome an environment full of creativity drowbacks, economic obstacles  and most of all ethics and opinions ,the sirens of any given period, for his work is not complete if he doesn’t appeal to a viewer, and finding viewers that will feel keen on my aesthetics and mindset, through my work, will make me and them happy.
